My Bio
I have a BS in Biology and I have worked at several zoos as zookeeper, and volunteer. I spent 15 years as a veterinary assistant at the Exotic Pet and Bird Clinic, and the last 8 years at Evergreen Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital, catering to everything that creeps, crawls, flies or swims.
Currently I create embroidery designs for home and commercial embroidery machines. My specialty is of course animals, especially parrots.
I haven't spent a lot of time in the last 20 years doing much traditional art (guess how old my kids are), but I am slowing getting back into it. Of course I have way too many interests, so that does not help to focus. In the last few years I have been playing around with digital art and 3D modeling.

I haven't been posting anything for awhile, but thought I really need to work on that. So I am making a goal to put at least one thing up a month, and more hopefully. Been so busy at work and life that I haven't really made time for too much artwork. My idea is to try to do at least one non-digital project a week, even if it is only a doodle. Need to get the creative juices flower.
